Bridges of Peace was honored to participate in the first annual Ridgefield Pride in the Park! The incredible even was organized by BoPH teacher partner, Maureen Tyra and the Gender and Sexuality Alliance Clubs from East Ridge Middle School, Scotts Ridge Middle School, and Ridgefield High School. Their combined efforts made for a fun and festive celebration of Pride Month and the LGBTQIA+ Community.
Bridge of Peace and Hope believes in a world where everyone can have pride in their identity, where love is celebrated and shared freely without fear. Let us never forget or ignore the very real threat LGBTQIA+ people face in this world by making the decision to be themselves.Help us to create this world by recognizing love as love and by being an active ally this Pride month, every month, and every day!
