American International School – Vienna
The American International School of Vienna is a dedicated Bridges of Peace and Hope Club! Frequent participation in international projects, fundraisers, and exchange has allowed the students and faculty of AIS Vienna to build strong bridges of connection with classrooms around the world.
In February 2017, four teachers from the Bridges of Peace and Hope Club at AIS Vienna, traveled to Lusaka West, Zambia where they spent time collaborating and connecting with their colleagues at Mukwashi Trust School. The group was led by BoPH Club Leader, Nicole Forbes Wagner. They brought supplies and contributed major improvements to the school playground while they were there. Lasting friendships were made and enduring bonds established.
In 2018, this friendship continued.  Students from AIS Vienna and Mukwashi Trust School participated in the video project, “Where We Live” in celebration of diversity and universality. Students from both schools thought and shared their feelings about work, play, laughter, friends, and family with classrooms across the world.  AIS Vienna also hosted a Movies for Mukwashi Fundraiser, bake sale, and tag sale raising over 10,000 Euros for their sister school in Lusaka!
The American International School of Vienna always inspires us with their dedication and ingenuity.
