• Bridge of the Month

The Bridge of the Month Project is a means to guide our clubs and supporters around the world in focused reflection and action. Each month we celebrate and explore a new theme or “bridge” that has the power to strengthen connections in our community. In doing so, we learn and create together to deepen our understanding of the uniting tenets that have the power to shape a better world.   Our Bridge of the Month for February is LOVE! At BoPH, we believe in the power of love to change the world.  Love is an endless source of light, courage, and connection. Spreading love to others makes for a life worth living!   Rev. Martin Luther King knew that "love is the only force capable of transforming an enemy into a friend."  Throughout February, Bridges of Peace and Hope challenges you to channel the transformative nature of love!  Whether you extend a hand of love to an adversary or send love to someone who's life may be lacking, don't forget to add an extra scoop of love to your life in the morning! It may seem obvious to some, impossible to others but, having a loving relationship with yourself allows you to invest more deeply and readily and  in your relationships with your community and world.  Loving the world starts in you, so what are you waiting for?  Get a mirror and say in earnest, "I open my heart to love and know that I deserve it." Now that you know it, get out there and spread the love! Don't forget to use #LoveIsABridge <3

  • A Smile Is A Bridge

#asmileisabridge, what makes you smile? At Bridges of Peace and Hope, we believe in the power of a smile. A smile is an expression of joy, an invitation to friendship, a bridge we build when we share our own happiness with others.  When smiles are shared they have the power to unite the world in joyous celebration.  A Smile Is A Bridge Project is a great way to welcome each week!  Every Monday we invite our friends and followers to brighten their day and their faces with the #asmileisabridge Project. We encourage you to share your happiness with us and of course, with one another!  In sharing our smiles, we spread our joy and build bridges of friendship and community.  View this post on Instagram #asmileisabridge, what makes you smile?
